"Unacceptable": Former Economy Minister Antoine Armand criticizes the suspension of MaPrimeRénov'

"The State is not keeping its word." Antoine Armand, former Minister of the Economy when Michel Barnier was Prime Minister, firmly opposed the suspension of MaPrimeRénov' on RMC on Friday. The scheme, which helps homeowners renovate their homes, is to be temporarily suspended by July 1 , the government announced Thursday.

Haute-Savoie MP Antoine Armand called it an "unacceptable decision." "The principle of a budget is to provide visibility for all economic stakeholders over the next year. "We need to make savings in all sectors, but suspending a decision during the year, when you are a state that supports its economic fabric, is not possible," insists Antoine Armand.
